How to play

Pick one string. Pick the first note only, then hammer on to the next frets and pull off back down without picking again.

Try a chain such as frets 5, 7, 8, 7, 5, using a finger per fret. Aim for every note to sound equal in volume.

Hammer firmly from above the fret and pull off with a small downward flick so the string sounds.

Keep a chain of at least 16 notes going on one pick. Then repeat on the next string.

Uneven volume usually means your pull-offs are weaker than your hammer-ons.
